It was pretty straight forward. Cant say a kindergartner could do it, but someone with a little handy man experience should be fine.
Hi Bill, this is a universal application so it should come with the appropriate mounting brackets and hardware to install it.
I have purchased two of these over the years and even moved one from one cart to another and in every case the fit was extremely easy!
I would look for a "piano hinge". Could put it on the inside using Gorilla glue. Just a suggestion - have not had to replace yet, but that is what I would try first.

Yes the traywill fit . . . but not between the posts as intuition suggests. Hardware provided connects to the posts and positions the tray just behind and nearer the seats, say 1 1/2". So yes it will work.
I hope this makes sense. When drilling the holes for the hardware, drill perpendicular to the tubing not parallel to the ground. Though it will work either way.
I am not sure if it will fit a Yamaha, I installed it on a 2001 EZ Go. It is a universal fit, it comes with several different brackets, , I would think you could make it work on your cart, but I cannot tell you that it will definetly fit.
Although I don't have an Icon120, this is a very universal tray that fits any cart with a windshield frame 34-40 inches.
