Cart Subtotal:
Keeping your batteries charged can be an absolute pain in the you-know-what sometimes. The standard charger that comes with your EZGO is automatic, which is great because it shuts off on its own. What it fails to do is maintain your batteries once it shuts off the first time; it's not going to turn back on again unless you unplug and replug the handle. That's a hassle, especially if you don't ride your golf cart every day. Get a Lester Battery Charger from Buggies Unlimited and make sure your batteries stay topped off at all times.
Even though this charger from Lester has multi-voltage support, the plug that comes with it is factory 36v carts. If your cart were 48v from the factory, this handle would not be compatible. Buggies Unlimited makes it easy by pairing them up ahead of time; give us a call today and see what a new charger can do for the life of your batteries and your peace of mind.
Per Lester, yes to all of your questions. Now the down side, depending on the number of months you leave plugged in you may deplete the acid/water in the batteries to the point that you damage the batteries. Lester/Trojan’s best (safe) answer is to make sure acid/water level is adequate, charge batteries, put toggle switch in storage mode, unplug charger and have someone plugin the charger every 2- months until fully charged then unplug. Recharge every 2-months.
Hi Mel, yes the amps dictates how fast the batteries charge, but as long as you're buying the charger with the correct plug and voltage, you should be good.
Yes you can… simply purchase another charging cable.
Within the Lester summit app. You can select dozens of charging configurations for any cart.
Lester summit customer support is excellent, should you need help setting up the charger.
You can order it wth the cord that will fit. The cord comes separate from the charger so you have to screw it on the right posts. It is very easy and this is a great charger.
