The 36/48-Volt 275-Amp Controller will replace the brain of your golf cart if you will. The controller receives signals from the throttle sensor, activation circuit, and batteries before it sends an alert to the motor; if any of these does not communicate properly, no go. Even a tiny wire getting nicked is enough to make any golf cart controller temperamental.
This is what is called a short body controller. It has four buss bars which are where the big cables hook up. It is programmed for a 5k-0 throttle output meaning this is an excellent choice for 48-volt series powered Club Cars. The output is rated at 275 amps and can run with a current flow of between 36-48 volts. This is a Curtis 1204 footprint if you are trying to replace something exact. The controller measurements are seven inches by five and a half by three. As stated previously, you can use this on higher voltages but not on the lower 24-volt carts. Call Buggies Unlimited now.
Thank you for reaching out! Can you send me a picture of the golf cart? Is the forward and reverse switch on the dash or behind your legs? Is there a Run/tow switch under the seat on the passenger side?

You would need to verify the AMP Rating on the old controller that you are replacing. In other words if the old one is 350 Amp for example, you would need to replace it with a 350 Amp Controller. You also need to confirm what the footprint of the Columbia Cart is. Each Controller for EZ GO has a specific footprint in the controller. The same goes for Club Car and they aren't interchangeable without the footprint being changed. So you would need to know the footprint for the Columbia Par Car controller to find out which controller to use. If you go online and Google the 2004 Par Car and try to find out the footprint and then match it to either EZ GO or Club Car and then match the Amp Rating to what you have in the Par Car. I hope this helps.
PROBABLY NOT. YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE ITS EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE ONE YOU ALREADY HAVE BECAUSE AN UPDATED DESIGN WILL NOT WORK CORRECTLY AND GIVE YOU ALL KINDS OF TROUBLE.
