Product Details

The Yamaha and Harley Davidson Drive Belt on your golf cart is the rubber strap-looking thing that connects the primary or drive clutch to the secondary or driven clutch. Your golf cart uses these two pulleys to run the whole shebang. The drive clutch uses weights and centrifugal force to collapse and draw together as the engine spins faster and faster. As this happens, it causes the belt to get pulled toward the top of the primary. This power transfer is needed to get the caddie moving forward or reverse. It's like the spinal column of your system. You are not moving without it.

As some guy named Newton once said, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. As the belt pulls up on one clutch, it draws down on the driven clutch. This is the standard action of the cart, but the high friction it creates wears belts out fast. You should add this golf cart accessory to your quarterly maintenance list. However, if you are only using your golf cart one season a year, this can be an annual thing. Ensure you tune it up every time you put it away or take it out for the festivities. Whatever suits your playstyle works for us.

This golf cart drive belt will work for Columbia, Harley Davidson, and Yamaha golf carts. These models are two-cycle, which should show our commitment to keeping these older carts going. Get Buggies Unlimited on the phone and book now for great deals.
