Stopping your vehicle is essential. That is not up for debate. For your safety and the safety of those around you, being able to bring your caddie to a quick and complete stop is a vital attribute. There is a lot that goes into making a coach this heavy stop on a dime. Your brake pedal and cables start the process, but the heavy lifters are the shoes and Brake Drums for Club Car, EZGO, and Yamaha. The shoes are easy; if the pad is thin, it's time to replace it. The drums are not hard either. If they look like they are starting to take on an egg shape instead of being round, it's time to replace them as well.

Your golf cart brake drum is a high wear item that needs to be replaced yearly depending on use. If you only drive it minimally, you will have to be the judge. Just keep an eye on things. Buggies Unlimited is standing by with a great deal when you are ready.
