    Tech Tips:

    • Turn off key and unplug
    • Set the Run/Tow switch to the TOW position
    • Disconnect the negative battery cable first
    • Reconnect the positive cable first when installing
    • Take a reference photo before starting installation
    • Use insulated tools and wear protective eyewear and gloves
    • Remove any jewelry before working
    • Avoid mixing different cable gauge sizes

    Installation Order:

    • Install all series jumpers first
    • Install controller/motor cables
    • Positive (+) pack lead on first, negative (–) last
    • Apply dielectric grease externally after tightening

    Torque Specs:

    • 5/16" studs: 8–10 ft-lb
    • 1/4" studs: 6–7 ft-lb
    • Always Check OEM Spec: Do not over‑torque which avoids cracking the post and ruining the battery
    • After a week or two inspect for any wear or insulation rubbed off and retorque cables
