Frequently Asked Questions

• Are heated batteries safe? Yes! The battery’s BMS includes multiple safety features. The heated battery only warms itself when necessary and raises the internal temperature just enough for safe charging, and heating occurs only while the battery is plugged in.
• How do I know if I need a heated vs non-heated battery? It depends on where you operate and store your cart. A lithium battery must be above 30°F internally to charge. If your cart is stored in a space that keeps the battery above this temperature, a standard battery works fine. For outdoor or very cold storage, a heated battery is recommended to ensure reliable charging.
• Does the warranty differ for heated batteries? No, the 12 year warranty also covers heated batteries.
