Most likely solenoid the problem but first check all batteries. If any one checks significantly lower than others you probably need new batteries especially if they are near four years old or more. Hope this helps.
It's under the rectangular plastic cover with one screw in the middle.
There is no positive or negative. One large wire comes from the power supply, the other goes to the starter. Don't worry about mixing up the small wires, it doesn't matter what side they go on.
