Cart Subtotal:
When you think of safety concerns on a golf cart, several things come to mind, like seat belts and brake lights. There is a whole section of this site that is dedicated to those types of upgrades. Commonly overlooked when it comes to safety are the basic wear and tear items of the caddie. All of which pose a problem as they start to wear out, others more than most. We cannot think of one closer to the top of that list than the brake parts, like the Club Car DS Brake Cable. Can you think of a more dangerous situation on your cart other than being without a way to stop it?
This golf cart brake cable is the same for both the driver and the passenger side of the golf cart, so you do not have to worry about matching lengths to the OEM cable. This will work for the 2000 and newer Club Car DS models, and if you call Buggies Unlimited to order, you can be assured of the best value.
From what your describing I would first check the adjustment. They should both pull equally and if you've got one side pulling harder than the other adjustment would be my first inclination. You can pull your drums off and manually set the adjuster just so the drum slides on and off with a little drag. If you get both sides with the same amount of drag they should pull relatively equally. If not check the entire brake system you may have other issues.
Hope this helps.
