The E-Z-GO Forward and Reverse Switch for PDS fits 2000-up models because that is when EZGO dropped the PDS model. This was not their first venture into the shunt world. They were responsible for one of the very first shunt golf carts, known as the DCS. This was a stepping stone towards the PDS drive system that carries the TXT until almost current times. Two things easily identify this system. A run and tow switch is located on the controller cover, under the seat. The other thing is this rocker switch on the dash. If you have those two items, you for sure have a PDS model. If you only have the switch under the seat, you have a DCS model. Finally, if you have a copper contactor board under the seat on the passenger side, you have a series system.
