I am pretty sure it will. The cargo box attaches more to the top mounting posts and not the seat back(s). You should'nt have to modify anything. It's absolutely the best thing we've ever done to our golf cart. We use it every day for something.
There are supposed to be rubber straps that hook the tailgate. They are on top edge of the box sides
