The Club Car DS V-Glide Wiper-Arm is a vital part of your golf cart's throttle system. The DS of this era used a V-glide, as previously mentioned. This plastic "v" shaped box houses several stationary copper contacts. Which are either wired via heavy cable to the resistor coil bank located under the metal box behind the batteries. Adversely it could have a set of smaller resistors mounted directly to the back of the stationary contacts that send signals to your controller as to the position of the throttle. The part that makes all of this possible for both systems is the golf V-glide wiper-arm.

The golf cart wiper-arm is the part that has the movable contact installed directly in it.
