Cart Subtotal:
Oh yeah, things are starting to look good. You got a new paint job, and you even threw a rear seat on there so you could take the kids out in the woods with you. What you didn't count on when you lifted it and threw the offroad tire and wheel combo at it was the colossal amount of mud that your back tires were going to kick up on the rear passengers and the no-charge mud bath you were giving yourself thanks to the aggressive tread upfront. We know people pay good money for that, and you are welcome to use that excuse with your clay-crusted passengers but riding your golf cart is neither the time nor place for a spa treatment. Get a set of TXT GTW Fender Flares and eliminate that issue.
This aftermarket kit will fit the 1996-2013 E-Z-GO TXT Gas & Electric models and are custom-molded for a flawless fit. We still recommend getting them warm and pliable before mounting. Constructed of impact-resistant ABS plastic makes them an excellent option for the outdoorsman. You get a complete set of four with all hardware. At this point, there is no reason not to call Buggies Unlimited.
Hi David, I would suggest the attached fender flares for your TXT.
No, these are designed to only fit the first generation TXT carts made from 1996-2013.
No stainless steel hardware. Mine were black large tapping screws. The instructions say to predrill holes in the fender, but I found it easier to mark your locations and then just drive the hardware in with a power screwdriver.
Yes .It may appear at first that they won't, but you have to figure out which fender goes where. The also need a bit of conforming to the space, but once bolted on that fit just fine.
They are very flexible as far as matching up to the fender well curve. Positioning on the fender well opening is important. Make sure you position the front of the fender cover first before you mark the holes for drilling.
3 1/2 " off the body of your golf cart...you do have drill holes into the plastic body of your golf cart....mark everything first and you should be fine.
well I did not install the rear did not like the fitment too large of a gap toward the bottom of the leading
edge - even in the picture on the produce you can see gap - just used the front - but I was in a hurry to
to get the buggy back on the beach - may study it again soon
I have a Jack's brush guard on the front of my ezgo txt with GTW fender flares and works fine. one thing is I believe Jack's may have a couple different brush guards. Mine just goes across the front, where as the other brush guard curves around the sides on the front of the cart. so depending on the guard you have it may or may not fit. I hope this helps.
Yes, it would work, they fitted perfect and looked finished with the wheels. Also gave the buggy a different look.
Just measured mine, about 3 inches.
