Product Details

Yamaha is one of the finest golf carts on the market. But if you are a do it yourself-er like we all are, finding the golf cart parts to repair it yourself can be pretty tricky sometimes. We like to help with that problem by carrying various products for each machine, including the 48-Volt 300-Amp Controller from GE. This brain box is an aftermarket item, and it's going to look quite a bit different than the one that came on the golf cart. It will plug in the same way and come with a wiring diagram to clear up any confusion.

It is a 300 amp unit, meaning it's a little bigger than the stock one from the factory. You will get a slight increase in speed and torque. We know what you are thinking after reading that, "that's great, but what about my runtime?" You get a boost on that, too, due to an increase in power use efficiency. With all that in-store, you need to call Buggies Unlimited and get one coming today.

Works perfectly. Very happy. Mounting holes do not line up but I knew that from reading previous reviews. No matter, I’m very satisfied with this product.

great controller
Everything was a direct fit as far as the electrical connections went. I did have to fabricate a mounting plate as the new controller was smaller than the original. Pretty simple if you have the materials .I installed on an 02 yamaha G19

Hooking up my new controller for my 2006 G22. old controller only had 1 A1 post. This has an A2 post also. Do I need to run a jump wire from A1 to A? Not working after install..

Yes. I used the same size wire and it has been working fine for about a year.

I have a 2002 Yamaha g19e 48vt will this worknon my cart ? Thanks jr

Yes purshed one for my cart works fine and comes with wiring diagram and diagnosis of problems and ways to check different problems.Enter

I have a 2000 G19E, just pruchased and the controller was missing. It has brand new batteries. I purchased and installed this controller and hooked up all the wires according to the A1, A2, F1, F2, Pos and neg and the multi pin plug. I get zero movement. There is 49 volts across the terminals at the controller.... Suggestions?

Hi Kevin, Please give our tech support team a call at 1-888-444-9994. They can get all the correct items needed to complete your installation.

I have a 99 G19, will this work for it?

It worked beautifully for my 2003 G22.
Since the controller is specified for G 19-G 22, I think it will work for you G 19 as well.
I didn’t think Yamaha changed the controller for several years.
I hope this info helps in your decision making , Ron.

Will this controller work in my 1997 G19E?

It works great on my 1996 g19e. Seems to go a little bit faster too.

I just purchased my G19 controller. The mounting holes do no line up with existing plate holes. Is there an adapter plate I should have?

I have a 03 Yamaha G-22. The one I ordered lined up perfectly. You may have to drill the mounting plate.

I need JU2-H6510-24, but this product G19-22 are similar? Can use it ?

This controller will work great on your g22

How long will it take to get the controller ?

About a week as I recall.

Warranty?

This has a one-year warranty.

i have a 2003 yamaha g22E it only has a 260 amp controler now i want to upgrade it needs a little more pep any recamendations ?

I have nothing to really compare it to as far as an upgrade. I have a 1996 G19e that wasn't running when I got it. I can tell you that it now works fine. I needed to make new mounting holes and that was it. Pretty much just a plug and play.
