Down here in Florida, we say that if you are not keen on the weather, wait 15 minutes. It will change. It does not matter if it's a sunny day or torrential downpours; you will have the exact opposite issue to deal with in a short period. Being prepared for the inevitable is the only thing you can do. For the weather, you can keep a universal enclosure in the cargo area of your caddie. However, when it comes to keeping the engine running, having parts like the Yamaha Carburetor for G14 Models on the shelf can make the difference. These things are forever getting clogged up and failing. Having a spare can mean the difference in getting to use it over the weekend or not.
This golf cart carb is not a hard part to install. Ensure you get all the proper Yamaha gaskets when you call and maybe have a friend there to help you keep things straight. Other than that, all you need to do is call Buggies Unlimited.
The carb I bought was sauareand slide down two studs with a 1 inch spacer attached to the engine block. Turns out it was a 1996 golf cart.
It does not gasket is separate.
