Electric motor replacements intimidate people. It's completely understandable, though. We are talking about a 60 plus pound object that mounts above your rear axle. This motorsports 2.25 horsepower at 2,565 RPM, which's a little better than the OEM stats, but we consider this our stock replacement motor for the 36-volt shunt carts. Make sure this is the correct motor for you. If you have a PDS cart, your forward and reverse switch will be on the dash; on the DCS, it's below your knees, but both models have a run/tow switch under the seat.
