Product Details

When your golf cart is stock, you can expect to get 12-15 mph depending on the batteries' condition and the cart's overall health. That's just not enough speed if you ask us. We have a need, and it can only be satisfied by one thing. Pure, unadulterated power in the form of momentum is what we are after; AMD is prepared to deliver it with the Speed Motor for EZGO PDS and DCS drive systems. The antique DCS systems can be impossible to find parts for; even those can use this motor without additional conversions or rewiring.

This motor will look and hook up the exact same way that the OEM one did. You will notice the difference the first time you push the pedal. This unit is compatible with the stock controller; if you want to maximize the performance, this cart can output, pair a 500 amp aftermarket Curtis Controller with it, and really fly. Just call one of our sales staff to make sure you get everything you need.

Is there a bushing that goes between the motor and the drive splines?

There is a rubber bumper that fits into the bottom of the female spline(purchased separately) It's purpose is to take up input shaft slap. Hope this helps

Hi.  Will this work with a Ezgo 2002 TXT PDS and will the original 250 amp speed controller be ok to keep?

This would not work for the 250 amp.

GOT A 2006 EZ GO IT GOES 22 MPH WANT TO GO FASTER EASIEST WAY OUT?

Hard to answer without knowing your controller and existing motor. When I replaced the stock motor on my 2016 Star cart, I did see some increase in speed but it was pretty fast already

What's the average speed of this motor?

I agree with Robert, it depends on the controller. I kept my stock controller and as a result the speed is nearly identical (aside from the fact it is a newer motor.)

What is the max RPM this motor should run?

3570 RPM

what is the RPM and HP?

4.45 HP @ 3570 RPM. I myself did not see any great difference between stock and this motor.

How long is warranty?

Hi James, should be 1 year manufacturer's warranty.

What is the Max Continuous Discharge Current Amps?
What are the motor terminal markings?
