We wish it were as easy as hitting the pedal and taking off. We are not sure, but there has got to be someone working on wireless acceleration for gas golf carts, and whoever that is will be a wealthy person when they figure it out. Until then, we are stuck dealing with high-wear items like the Yamaha gas 4-Cycle Accelerator Cable. Over time these cables stretch. You can make a bit of adjustment to account for some of it, but it is not much. The longer it gets, the slower you are going to go. Your caddie relies on a specific length to get to full throttle; if it elongates, top-end can no longer be achieved. Get moving towards a solution to the slowness creeping in on you.

This golf cart cable is located under the caddie. It attaches to the accelerator linkage and runs back to a governor on the rear differential. Make sure all of these items are in good condition before ordering, and then call Buggies Unlimited and get it coming.
