Product Details

The EZGO Medalist TXT Accelerator Microswitch does not get enough love. This thing is directly in line with the solenoid and making things run. This is one of those golf cart parts that you would be up the creek without a paddle if you did not have it. When the solenoid clicks in, it's because you pressed the pedal, right?

When you depress the accelerator pedal, a switch is mounted to the frame underneath the cart that gets activated. Once that happens, it allows a positive voltage to flow to the next step in the activation circuit. Depending on how your caddie is wired, it could be the forward and reverse micro switch or the solenoid itself. Without this golf cart microswitch, you would be dead in the water. That is no place to be when the fix is this simple. Just two screws and two wires, and you are done. Call Buggies Unlimited and get one of our experts to send one of these your way.

Works as expected
Ordered a micro switch from a competitor. Lasted about two weeks in my cart and quit. Ordered another from a different supplier, that one never arrived to me after they said it shipped. They said they will ship another switch and that switch never arrived.
I ordered from Buggies Unlimited. No problems. Arrived in a timely manner. Two months later and still doing it’s job to start my gas powered EZ-GO

Switch that works with throttle inductive switch.
If your having problems with your cart going forward and reverse, I recommend ordering the switch along with the inductive throttle control, you’ll be glad you did.

The micro switch was our problem for our electric cart, but am not sure about the gas carts. I would suggest you look at the micro switch on the gas peddle to see if it’s bad.

Yes it is

Yes, you may have to oil the pedal also.

My 2016 6passenger ezgo that starts but cannot move when put in gear. Was running fine but quit all of a sudden and would not move when restarted and seemed to be fuel related.  Would this be a problem..?

I had this problem, it was caused by some contaminated gas.

will this work on a 2013 txt 48?

should work fine, the book calls for a 10896 but these units are about the same.
