Did not need to use it ! The socket was the problem! I ljust have not returned the unused plug!

will this plug work with 42-volt system?

As long as the plug fits in your cart this should work. My mechanic says 6 extra volts shouldn't matter. If the plug doesn't fit in your cart you can purchase the receiver part for your cart.
