This golf cart 500 amp beast cannot stand alone; you want to consider replacing the motor, but an absolute requirement when increasing the drive system's amperage is a new EZGO solenoid, forward and reverse, and cables at the very least. Without these, you are not only endangering all of the stock components of the drive system, but that brand new controller is also going to run hot and fail.
