Part arrived quickly but the original equipment bolt was too big. Had to home the hole to get the bolt in otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Does the txt steering pinion gear fit a 99 ez go freedom ?

Not sure on that. Mine is a txt 95.5. It was the rack on mine I bought gear needlessly. Jack up your cart take off drivers side wheel. Remove the dust boot and turn the steering wheel far left and examine the rack that the pinion gear turns. The middle of mine was very worn.
