The E-Z-GO Air Intake Hose is what is directly connect to your airbox where the filter goes. This hose channels all the fresh air that the caddie needs to run. Most customers are unaware, but the airflow is vital to a lot more than just cooling the engine. Without it, the carb could not draw any fuel from the pump, and that is just the first thing in a line of many that are going to have issues with restricted airflow. So if you notice that the golf cart hose looks collapsed or bent, this would be an excellent time to replace it.

Having too much airflow can also be a big issue. Too much of anything is never a good thing, right? A little rain never hurt anyone, but too much will kill you. That is the same case with air coming into the cart. If it is too much, the fuel mixture will be off, and the engine won't run.
