Upgrading your suspension seems to be a requirement of anything fun you buy. New rear seat or cargo box? You need springs! What if you don't plan to haul people or cargo around all the time? What if it's going to be empty back there most of the time? A set of heavy-duty leaf springs would make it too stiff. The last thing you need is to sacrifice ride quality because the grandkids want to ride on the back two weekends a year. Well, thanks to the E-Z-GO TXT Dual-Action Heavy-Duty Leaf Spring, you can get the support you need and keep the ride you like. Now you do not have to choose between maintaining the grandkids safe when they come over and keeping your liver in the right place the rest of the year.
This golf cart leaf spring uses a helper leaf to ensure that you only get the support when needed. This is an E-Z-GO leaf that is un-banded from the stack so that it only provides tension when the cart has weight on it. Call Buggies Unlimited now.
I believe they are 28” from eye to eye
The two items perform different functions. The shocks are to control the “bounce” when the cart goes over uneven ground. The springs support the weight of the cart and passengers. If your cart didn’t bounce before you should be okay. If the shocks are already out see if you can push them in and out by hand. This should be difficult to do. If they go in and out with ease they should be replaced. I hope this helps.
They worked fine for replacing a broken spring on a 2 seater TXT. Won't be heavy enough to carry 4 riders and gear.
