Your golf cart needs the love and care of a Club Car DS Tune-Up Kit at the very least once a year. This all comes down to how much it gets used. If you live down here in the Sunshine State with us, you will use your golf cart year-round. If that is the case, you will need to tune your golf cart up as much as you change the oil on your car.
This should happen about three to four times a year. If you neglect these things, you can gum up your engine and cause things to overheat. When that happens, you risk damaging the engine and all of the components that mount to it. A simple kit can help you stay ahead of this problem. When you call us today, ask to speak to one of our tech support reps who can answer all of your questions. We offer this service as a free option for all of our customers. Ensure you are fixing the issue.
This kit comes with a spark plug and two fuel filters; most golf cart tune-ups only come with one. You also get an air filter because you will want a few for the shelf if you have ever seen one after a while in the cart. You also get an oil filter, your Club Car uses an automotive style, so it's easy to change. Call Buggies Unlimited today and get one ordered.
One thing to keep in mind is that this unit is for a single-cylinder engine. That means you only have one spark plug sticking out of the top of the engine. So if you lift the seat and see two of these bad boys, you may want to give us a call. We can help you identify your golf cart at no additional charge. This will also ensure that everything you order from us in the future will be just the way it needs to be.
The kind that fits it
mike yes we can what is that serial number
Great question! I've wondered that myself.
The DS stands for “Dom Saporito,” who was a vehicle designer at Club Car in the 1980s. This model was named after him in recognition of his contributions to the design of the golf cart.
I have a 2003, and the tune-up kit that I purchased here was perfect.
The only thing you will need to complete this tune up kit is the oil and you can get that at any auto store or gas station..... If you call Buggies 800#, and give them that SN, they can also tell you what Belt you will need for your cart. Their customer service tech's are on point!!!! In the past and any time i shop their web site or magazine, I always give them a call with my SN just to confirm i am getting what i actually need and sometimes things that i forgot about.
Hello!
If it is a club car. I was able to find the vin number under the front dash where it meets the floorboard. Then I use Google to find out what year it was from the numbers in the vin.
