Product Details

The EZGO Gas Two-Cycle Fuel Pump is a vital part that ensures your engine runs smoothly. Have you ever heard the phrase, starving for gas? Or maybe they used the ever-popular, running lean. They both mean the same thing. You are not getting enough juice to the engine, so things start to run rough. What it comes down to is one of the many components in the golf cart fuel system has given up the ghost. Ensure you check things like your fuel filters and lines and give the carb a good bath before tackling the fuel pump. We would hate for you to buy something and it not fix the issue. Ethanol is a terrible thing for golf cart parts. It leaves a nasty residue behind that clogs everything it touches.

The golf cart fuel pump works by using the fluctuating pressure of the crankcase to flex an internal diaphragm. This act draws the gas out of the EZGO tank and shoots it up toward the carb. Give an expert a call here at Buggies Unlimited to make sure you get everything you need.

i must have a bad pump
my pump has to much pressure, it pushes fuel in the carb and out the over flow while running, it must be returned, oh yes the carb is brand new so not a problem there

Works perfectly
I bought the fuel pump along with the carburetor I just wrote about (carb did not work properly) and it appears to be working perfectly - at least for this first week. At this point I would recommend it.

I have a 93.  The number is 489397  HO 588.  So it is not an 89 to 90.5 but it matches the picture on your post?

Please look at item 5146

what goes between fuel pump and motor housing or is there a shaft on the new fuel pump ?

No shaft on fuel pump. All there is a gasket that fits behind the pump next to the motor. Be sure to put a new gasket on when you change pumps.
