Cart Subtotal:
Sand and dirt are two of the biggest enemies of your golf cart's bearings and seals. If this stuff is allowed to penetrate places it's not supposed to be, the result could be catastrophic. Bearings alone are sealed in most cases to protect against this. There are cases where heat from friction can cause those seals to open up and form gaps that basically send out longhand invitations to the bearing destruction party. Items like the E-Z-GO gas and electric Rear Hub Dust Cap are the forerunners in keeping the dust and grime out of places it shouldn't be. If you happen to notice that you are missing one, please get it replaced before something more complicated arises. Bearings are just the start of things; think about what they ride on. No one wants to replace an axle.
This golf cart dust cap will fit the 1987 and newer model EZGO's. It was used on several different models over the years. EZGO liked to live by the motto, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." Reach out to Buggies Unlimited for a great experience today.
I would assume it should. I actually have not installed this item yet as it appears that it is inserted through the back of the wheel when the wheel is put on the hub, and I have just been to lazy to have taken the wheels off yet.
It is held on by the wheel. Just place the cone side through the front of the wheel, and as one piece place the wheel/ rim onto the studs. It will stay until you get it placed.
Yes you can use it on your cart.
This is a 1 not four.
2-3/4" These dust caps fit inside of the steel rims from the back side. When you install them from the back they will stay in place until you get the rim on the cart. When you tighten the lug nuts down it pinches it between the steel wheel and the brake drum to make a secure fit.
