Cart Subtotal:
The Club Car DS Rear Spring Shackle is what the leaf spring needs to hold it in place. This unit bolts to the frame of the cart. The position that you will find the mount located is under the rear bumper. This will be on both the passenger side and the driver side of the caddie. These golf cart shackles are used in conjunction with four bushings to hold the spring in place securely. You will need this quantity to do one side of the cart, so make sure to order enough to complete your golf cart project.
There are only two sets of shackles needed per vehicle. The reason being is the spring mounts into a frame towards the middle of the cart. You still need bushings, but no aftermarket golf cart shackle is required to make it work up front. Call Buggies Unlimited today and get as many of these things coming as you need. We like to keep a few on the shelf as we are not using our caddies like golf carts at all these days.
EntWhat is the length of this item?

5 inches
Not that I'm aware of but I've easily made them with aluminum flat bar from local hardware store or online from places like Metal Depot.
These are sold individually. You need 2 for each side of the vehicle. Total of 4. They were an exact match to the originals and have worked well on our 2000 ds electric. Note - if you have a gas club car, it's a different part number.
No, the ones I purchased were same as stock (oem).
yes, this the stock shackle length for the rear spring shackle of a 85-up Club Car DS, but some people use them on the rear of a EZGOs to lift rear end in order to fit 20 inch tires
5" from center of bolt hole to center of bolt hole.
