Product Details

The Club Car DS Dual-Action Rear Leaf Spring from Buggies Unlimited is what you need for the occasional heavy load. If you typically cruise the neighborhood most of the year, but every once in a while, you may use it to haul a pack of wood or dirt or your overweight in-laws from Florida. You would not want a three or four-leaf spring. This would make your caddie ride like garbage. Those extreme duty units are for caddies that will carry heavy things 90 percent of the time. We designed these only to stiffen up when they need to.

How is this possible? Is it electrically actuated? Do I have to hook it to my batteries? Will it decrease my runtime? These are all valid questions we have received from customers on this item. Thankfully it's a lot simpler than the suspension of a low rider. This is a standard-duty golf cart leaf spring with an unbanded helper. That means an additional leaf only comes into play when the weight increases over the rear axle. Like when you carry 500 pounds of corn to a feeder or a thousand pounds of dinner to the table.

Installing one of these Club Car leaf springs is not a hard job. It will install the same way the old one comes off. That being said, you will need a friend to help as you will be jacking up the cart. Ensure you have a few jack stands on hand for safety and grab a basic set of tools.

Buggies Unlimited is the best around, and nothing is ever going to bring us down! So shop with the best when it comes to selection and pricing. All you need to do is pick up the phone and call an expert here today.

Excellent Replacement Springs if have Rear Seat
Great replacement over stock if you have a folding rear seat. The ride is a stiffer now, but not too bad. I also removed the rear shocks as those aren’t needed with these springs. Overall ride height seems about the same.

Nice ride, no squat with rear passengers
This is the spring you want when you add a rear seat kit. Allows for nice ride when only the driver or driver and one passenger are onboard but stiffens to eliminate squat when you have rear seat passengers onboard.

Unbelievable difference!
My Club Car DS had heavy duty rear springs put on by prior owner. Wow it rode like a log wagon! Every bump, the back end would hop. I hated it. These are a night and day difference! Just as smooth as stock, but can carry weight. Best purchase!

It seems to be a little lower but I am Shure it will not sag down with a load. The single leaf had to have more bow to compensate.

Went on very easy, but had to drill the center hole bigger to go over the center alignment bolt.
