No soldering or brazing is required. It is best to use a crimped eyelet terminal on the ends of your positive and negative wires in the cable from your charger. And, pay close attention to getting the positive and negative wires connected to the indicated 'prong'(s) of the plug. P.S. You can wrap the wires around the screws with workable fit and function. If you choose to do so, be extra sure you have a good secure wrap and the screws are seated completely, and securely in the plug spades. Again: I suggest using eyelet terminals for these connections.
