Product Details

The microswitches on your golf cart are critical components. Most of the time, they are used in the activation circuit of the buggy. This refers to the system of checks and balances that the cart uses as a safety feature to ensure everything is working before it puts power through to the motor or engine. Things like turning the key switch are one of the steps in the process. You have the accelerator pedal switch and a forward and reverse micro switch that also contributes to the process. There are actually three switches on the forward and reverse switch, one for the solenoid activation, one for half speed reverse, and one that activates the reverse buzzer. The Club Car 2-Terminal Micro-Switch is one of those three.

It will have two legs for hooking up wires; if you need the one that has a space for three wires, please call Buggies Unlimited and have an expert send you the correct one out today. Otherwise, this is the golf cart part for you. Click to buy today and get your order started.

I have a Club Car DS, and I drove it and all was well. I parked it and went to use it the next day and it would not start. I have spark and fresh gas. anyone know what the problem might be?.. I have a long way to go to take it to the repair shop.
87 club car 36 volt ,running fine and all of a sudden when placing forward reverse control in contact with key off and brake applied car takes off in max speed .any help ?

Sorry, that has been so long ago. Must have worked fine since I had not heard anything about it.

I have 2007 gas club car with an intermittent problem when I depress pedal I get a buzzing noise then repress pedal then engine starts? Can anyone have a solution I did replace solonoid and seems to help somewhat but does occur occasionally

I have contacted tech support at buggies unlimited several times and they are very helpful what I do is put a headlight in the terminals and make sure that light is lighting if the light is lighting that means the correct signal is going to the switch if it’s not coming out of the switch that switch is probably badEnter an answer to this question.

We have a 1997 gas club car that all of a sudden won't shut off when the pedal is released or even when the key is shut off.  It eventually idles down and sputters out. Any ideas of where to start?
? what are the connections nc or no

NORMALLY CLOSED NORMALLY OPEN

I have a club car 96 ds -48 volt, running fine and all the sudden, like Charles S, when turning on the key and placing in forward or reverse the car takes off at maximum speed. ????

Had a similar problem and replaced all of the Micro switches as they were not that costly. In my case it solved the problem.
My cart was a 36 volt 1986 Club Car still running great after all these years.

Club car ds 1999 gas. When I try to start nothing happens. When I jump solinoid it will fry but not start. Any thoughts? Terminal micro switch?

When jumping the solinoid, does the starter spin or engage. If not it sounds like a starter problem
Take a jumper directly from the positive of the battery to the cable going directly to the starter. If the starter engages it won't be the starter. could possibly be the ignition switch also.

Is this the correct replacement for the switch that resides in the vglide housing for an older resistance style club car ds?

John, the 2 terminal switch should be for the pre V glide system. Take a look at yours because you should have the 3 terminal micro switch which is our item#733

where is the terminal switch located?

I replaced all the switches on the forward reverse lever because I rewired everything and wanted to be sure I had all good switches
