I noticed that your photo of the bottom side of the "1979-99 Club Car DS Black Seat Bottom Cushion Assembly" seems to have more threaded inserts than my original car seat.  Is this the correct seat for a 1991 electric Club Car DS?

Yes, this would work on you 1991 Club Car DS.

Can you get the asbestos pad that fits on the bottom of the seat to protect from the engine heat. The manifold on the 90-94 models is on top of the engine. The original seat had that protected pad?

No this would not come with the pad.
