Product Details

The suspension systems on golf carts greatly vary from one manufacturer to the next. The Yamaha's are more like your cars or small SUVs. They use a coiled over the shock that provides a tremendous amount of outward pressure. The EZGO Rear Shock for 1979-01.5 Marathon and Medalist is not that in the slightest. This is a dampening shock that provides a small amount of resistance inward and outward. When we say slight, we mean it. You could easily collapse one of these with your hands, and it would stay collapsed until you pulled it back apart.

These golf cart rear shocks are designed to soften the travel of the ride on your EZGO. The leaf springs provide support, and the wonders make ride everything nice and smooth. We have heard many customers tell us they are taking them off. We say go for it if the comfort of your ride means nothing. Without these things, the bumpy ride will shake your liver loose. Shop Buggies Unlimited for quality golf cart parts and accessories for a smooth ride, every time.

Hello, I have a 1996 EZGO Textron gas golf cart. It needs a pair of rear shocks. Shocks has eyelets on both ends with 5/8 top hole and 7/16 bottom hole with metal sleeve insert. Fully extended, its 12 inches from center of top hole to bottom hole. Fully compressed, its 9 inches. Do these matches the above dimension? Thanks.

If your shocks have the eyelet ends, then yes this is the correct shock.

My dimensions R 16 xtended x 10 1/4 compressed with Looped ends, can U help me..?

Not sure what you are asking but from 79 to 94 this will work if you have a lift kit this will work as well if you have shock extension on your lift kit
