Product Details

If you are looking to add a rear seat to your cart, a few things need to happen before installing that bad boy. First and foremost, we need to know how much weight you intend to carry. Are we talking two grandkids three times a year, or are you hauling plants around a nursery all day? The grandkids can probably survive on the stock suspension. However, if you overload it, your caddie will be on the list of casualties. If you plan to haul heavy loads, the Yamaha Heavy Duty Rear Shock will be your best friend in the world.

This is a golf cart shock absorber designed to carry a significant amount more weight than the original shocks could. This not only increases the weight you can put over the rear axle for a Yamaha rear seat or cargo box but the amount you can tow as well. Give Buggies Unlimited a call today and get what you need.

Great service and product!
As advertised. Easy install. Amazing service and quick shipping - exceeded all service expectations! Springs are STIFF, but probably what the golf cart needed given the utility bed it has.

The shocks fit fine but were to strong for my 2003 e,zygotes cart. I played 18 with them and they were really hard, so I replaced the front shocks and that helped a little, but not enough. So I ordered the standard shocks and we will see how that works!

Excellent and easy to install
The spongy feel of the old shocks made the cart seem unstable. The new shocks work great and provide a more secure ride. I would deffnetly recommend them.

Too good!
This cart is primo, and in very good condition. It is used daily, both on and off the golf course. It is a heavy cart, with a rear facing back seat. A 2000 model.
The right rear shock broke the top mount off. So, I ordered 2 new shocks...heavy duty. Ride is stiff, but will soften up with use.It did raise the rear of the cart a bit, as expected.
This cart has an unusual mount...a piece that mounts to the shock, then into a frame mount. There was the problem...getting the upper end of the shock into the shock mount. The steel bushing in the shock was1/16 too long to fit into the mount. And too wide to fit into the mounting adapter. It was a pain in the arse! So, I used a hacksaw, and cut the adapter in all 4 corners, about 3/4 inch deep, and spread it til the shock fit into it. Added an hour to the simple installation. But, it worked. All is well, the rear end is slightly above normal, and carries the load well.
This is a Yamaha cart, so I suppose that the original shock mounts were metric, and this is an American made shock. That probably is/was the difference.

Good Vallue & Fit
I got these to go with a rear seat/cargo deck I installed on my G14. Had a little difficulty with fit since I already lifted my cart 6" but believe the problem was on my end. Heavy duty shocks and I get no rear sag, even with two adults riding in back.

Is this the shock and spring or just the shock? I’m looking to put the heavier springs on and new shocks I hate to buy new shocks with springs and have to remove them to put the heavy duty ones on

this is a shock and spring combo, one piece. makes for a very stiff ride. took all the left to right sway out of body. soft knobby tires inflated to 8 psi help smooth the ride somewhat

will model# 9307 fit a G-22A ?

I bought these shocks when I installed a lift kit on my Yamaha G16E (Electric) and they fit perfectly. I haven't had a big chance to test their ride yet, but I suspect this golf cart shouldn't be a big concern.

Can I install rear shocks on Yamaha G22 without removing rear body panel?

Yes. Getting the nuts loose wasn’t easy since they have been on for 13 years. Finally got them loose and it was pretty straight forward. Very happy with the quality of the rear seats.

Need front shocks for 1996 yamaha gas golf cart?

These fit perfectly. Be aware they are extremely heavy duty. Extremely stiff with no passengers

will this fit a 2001 Yamaha g19 Cart that is lifted 3 inches?

Yes. I just put some on with a 5" lift kit. Very solid.

Will these fit on 2006 EZGO?

I don't know that … I always put in manufacturer name and model when I order them
Usually fit by manufacturer

What brand rear shock is this?
