This windshield fits Club Car DS 2000-Up models and is made of high-quality thick acrylic; this is much thicker than OEM. The design provides for a snug, vibration-free fit, which helps with making it shatter and crack resistant. All installation hardware comes in a false bottom of the box and easily attaches to your existing roof frame. This unit is clear, but we also have tinted versions available. This aftermarket golf cart window has a width of 35 1/4 inches at the top and 39-7/8 inches at the bottom. The overall height, including the hinge, is 35 inches. If your current Club Car DS windshield matches these measurements, let's get it shipped. Be sure to double-check fitment before you remove the film because you cannot return it once it's off. Please Note: Dry fit windshield before removing protective film from windshield. Removal of protective film will make the windshield ineligible for return.
If the channels on your frame are in good shape, then you don't need anything else. If your channels are damaged then you would need an installation kit. I called"sales" and they helped me get what I needed.

If your are talking about the middle section where the windshield folds down, it has like a clear rubber sealant that allows the windshield to be folded.

I put it together the best that I could then parked it in the sun for a couple hrs then taped it in with a rubber mallet with a friend holding the bottom

No, if you have Club Car Villiager with wipers and solid windshield that wont work, however if you call them they are available.
Excellent product, perfect fit. That windshield is 1/4 thick clear plexiglass. They also make it tinted and they offer a thinner one as well.
