One of the biggest causes of other elements to fail on a golf cart is the battery cables. If you have a set of good batteries and one foul line somewhere on the pack, it will prevent the golf cart's entire operation. These Powerdrive systems have to have 48 volts at a minimum to operate normally. When your charge level reaches 47 volts, you will start to lose performance, and at 46, you are at a dead stop.
