The unit arrived and less than five minutes I had it installed on my cart. If you need to wiper for street legal and know a very little how a drill works even you, yes you can install it.

Can this be put on a folding windshield?

Yes it can. I have done it twice. It can prevent it from folding down properly. However, I’m guessing you are only installing like me because it is required to be street legal. The windshield is also likely a requirement and you can’t drive it on the street with the windshield down anyhow.

On the hand Operated One can you tell the size of the hole in arm, thats to the hand control end?

I'm not sure what you are looking for. If you are talking about the hole in the windshield, it is 7/16". If you are talking about the hole where the handle attaches to the mechanism, it is 1/4". If you are talking about the hole the mechanism slides through when the threaded metal is attached to the windshield, it is 5/32". That's all the holes there are. You simply drill a hole in the windshield, unscrew the handle from the mechanism, slide the mechanism through the hole in the windshield, screw the handle back on and attach the wiper blade. That's it.
