Hi. On my cart it was positive on the right side and negative on the left side but it does not really matter because the solenoid will work even if you change the cables, BUT if there are more cables connected which are positive and negative depended you must do it right. And the big connectors its positive on both battery + on one and the other goes to b+ to the EPS.

yes the quality of the solenoid reflects the price but all will work
These solenoids come from Ametek. The have manufacturing facilities all over the world but the majority of their facilities are here in the USA!
