I have a 48 volt club car that will go foreword but not reverse could this selenoid be the problem? I have power to the selenoid.

Archie,

I had a similar problem with my 48 volt ParCar. I purchased a universal 6 terminal solenoid to replace the malfunctioning unit. Install was easy. Just be sure you get the wires connected correctly. My problem was solved and it didn’t take 30 minutes. Bob S.

I have 48 V club car DS. Changed Speech which did not help. My golf cart goes but it just takes off really slow like it’s in high gear. Anyone have an idea?

Have you load checked the batteries?? Checked the Specific gravity of each cell battery? If the batteries are ok, I would guess it is the the motor.

If a 48v club car ds solenoid is bad, might it cause the cart to accelerate from zero to full power even when only depresing the pedal slightly?

no , this is not the right solenoid for the cart

I have an club cab gas engine. AG9630-512841 is the serial number. When put it reverse or drive and push on pedal all it does is click could you tell me if that a solenoid or starter , if so can I order one?

It sounds like a starter issue. If the solenoid is clicking, usually that means its working. I would still test for 12v+ at the output large terminal of the solenoid that is connected to the starter. If you get that and the starter does not turn, barring a grounding issue, that would mean a bad starter.

I Have a older Taylor Dunn 48 Volt little truck wont go in Reverse it has 3 Solenoids 2 of the Solenoids are Connected together with a Bar BOTH Part # 586-320111 and The other Solenoid is by itself  # 586-120111 which Solenoid is Reverse the Single one or The 2 Solenoids thats Connected Together? is there Anything Else that Could make it Not go in Reverse ?
Is there a diagram of the part number 1130 solenoid on how the normally closed and the normally open are ?
