We all love our tool belts, or maybe that stylish pair of Jnco's with the hammer loop. Nothing like being able to put a tool down while you are working and be able to grab it right back when you need it. But as many of us know, if we forget to take that handy little organizer off our waist, a screwdriver or something else pointy is going to poke a hole in your vinyl seat when you plop down. Luckily Buggies Unlimited has a cost-effective solution with the Yamaha Stone Seat Bottom Cover. These products move fast; book one with Buggies Unlimited now.
The Yamaha Stone Seat Bottom Cover matches one of the OEM seat colors, so you'll have no problem matching it up to the existing seatback. This set of replacement Vinyl is pre-sized and contoured. No trimming or cutting is required. Just stretch it over and staple or glue it in place. Buggies Unlimited understands that a whole seat assembly might be too much in some cases. That's precisely why this aftermarket seat cover is a top seller.
I bought the new seat already assembled. It suited my needs very well. I figured the extra cost was worth it. Pat
You will have to unbolt the handles etc on the bottom ~ then either 1) remove old vinyl by removing all the staples ( I then use a plastic sheeting before putting new vinyl on or 2) align
new vinyl onto seat and reattach with SS staples, trim off excess vinyl & if you want you can also use hidem to finish off hiding the staples. Reattach the handles etc ~ & you’re good to go ~~
I always use SS staples, so they don’t rust, but regular staples will work also.
I'm not for sure I do remember the problem I had I had electric staple gun and a handheld staple gun and a carpet stapler and none of them were strong enough to go through the plastic on the underside of your seat
We used them for 2013 Drive 2. They were perfect fit. I would say if the molded places are same. They will fit.
We were very happy with these covers. There is enough fabric and just trim off excess.
ron great question yes the modle ydra is the gas g29
This seat cover fit our 2015 Yamaha G29 front seat very well. There was a little excess material underneath the seat so we trimmed some off after we had it all stapled down. We used an electric stapler, 1/2" staples to attach as the underneath part of the seat is plastic. So far, it had held up well. We are happy with it. We also Googled the instructions on how to replace the seat cover and followed the instructions.
Yes, but... You will have to glue the cover to the cushion then glue the bottom of the seat back on. I tried it & it didn't turn out well. Would up buying a bottom seat assembly. New seat is framed in wood and will be no problem to recover in the future.
It fi my 2014 G29
