Let us tell you from experience, there is nothing quiet about your Club Car when a noisy OEM leaf spring bushing starts to rear its head, squeaking away with every bump in the road. Don't worry, though! It's nothing you did wrong, just regular wear and tear. Take, for instance, the ones that come in this Reliance Club Car DS Leaf Spring Bushing Kit. These rubber inserts and metal sleeves used in suspension components are supposed to deteriorate over time to prevent other, more expensive parts from going bad, like the springs themselves are a prime example. This method of using sacrificial parts to protect others is called designed obsolescence.
This aftermarket kit has all the needed equipment to reduce the noise pollution caused by worn stock suspension parts. You get rubber bushings that insert inside the eyelets at the end of your leaf spring. As well as the metal sleeve, that, without a doubt, took a pounding as those bushings went lousy. Buggies Unlimited makes sure you get everything you need with this assortment from Reliance. Pick up your Reliance Club Car DS Leaf Spring Bushing Kit Today!
sorry , I do not know the answer , I just ordered the bushing in case I needed them and I did not . I replace my old style spindle lift kit with the buggies unlimited kit and it made all the difference in the worl on how it drives and handles / however from the information I have read you need one kit per spring but for 5 bucks per kit just by an extra in case
can’t tell you what the dimensions are for them, I put them on my father in laws cart over a year ago so I have no way of measuring them, sorry!
The rubber bushings will fit the eyelet of the spring but the steel sleeve is larger than the bolt that goes through it and will cause excessive sloppiness in the installation. You should order bushings and steel sleeves specific for a Precedent. This particular kit shown is for a DS model.
Yes, be sure to jack the cart up, get the weight off the leaf spring.
Mine is a 2000DS and the front and rear bushings are the same
I have a 2000 club car and had to do some modifications to get them to work. They did help the steering and driving immensely.
For 1999 club car turf 2 need bushing for cargo box
