Product Details

Connecting accessories to only 1 or 2 batteries in a battery pack can reduce battery lifespan and vehicle runtime. The Reliance 10A DC Converter reduces full pack voltage to 12V to ensure batteries drain evenly. With a 10A output, this converter can effectively power light kits and small electronics such as USB chargers. The converter is activated by the key switch - preventing accessories from draining battery power when the key switch is off.

High quality product to properly reduce voltage from 48v to 12v

I originally was looking for a product to reduce voltage from 16v DC to 12v DC. After speaking to technical support at Buggies Unlimited I found that I should be using all my batteries (48v) instead of two batteries (16v). I ordered the Reliance converter, received it quickly, and it was a very easy install. Great documentation came with the product.
