Good motor upgrade, got about 4-5 mph over the old stock motor with the stock controller on my G29 Yamaha drive cart. Only negative comment would be nice to get new bolts as the stock motor has metric bolts in it and this motor uses standard 1/4-20 bolts.

Delivery was in 3 days after ordering. The motor does exactly what the description says it would do. Great product and the staff was very knowledgeable.

The was installed and the controller was adjusted. Immediately there was a differing torque and speed. Great addition.

This was a solid upgrade from the stock motor. I have a stretch G29 with a 6” lift and 23” tires. Only went 14mph with stock motor. Pretty straight forward to replace. With just the motor upgrade it went 21mph.! I was pleased with the results. I would recommend.

2008 YDRE (G29) - Nice upgrade
Cart began to sputter when pressing the accelerator. Tried replacing sensors under the pedal, checking wiring, batteries, etc. Called local shop & they said it's probably the motor. Called Buggies Unlimited to make sure this new advanced motor was a fit. Got the thumbs up. Called BU several more times w/ random questions and the techs were knowledgeable and professional. Ordered the motor. Shipped quick. They did not have the adapter in stock so I just straight wired the red/green/black wires to the corresponding wires from the cart. The motor was relatively easy to install. Hardest part was managing the weight of the motor while aligning the bolt holes. New motor does not have bolts included & I couldn't use the existing ones due to differing threading. Make sure to check the bolts before starting the install to avoid having to stop what you're doing to go buy new bolts. The new motor fixed the sputtering issue. The original stock motor pushed along no faster than 12mph. This new advanced motor still using the stock controller w/ no upgrade pushed the cart along a noticeably faster speed. Probably shy of 20mph. Some say with a controller update the motor will go even faster, but its performance rifht now is more than enough to make us happy.

This motor works just as advertised. 30 minutes to install. Would highly recommend. Went from 14 mph to 24 mph.

This was our first order from Buggies, and I believe it took two days to received the motor. Let me also state, that when I called the order in, the guy answered the phone, suggested an adapter. WHICH I WAS NOT ORDERING BUT HE KNEW I NEEDED. Thank you for kindness.
