Product Details

Use the downsize ring when upgrading from a gen 1 battery gauge to the current gauge.

The Gen1 battery gauges were slightly larger than the current Gen2 battery gauges. If you are replacing a Gen1 with a Gen2 battery gauge, use this downsize ring to still be able to use the larger hole you have in your dash.

  • What is this downsizing ring used for? In the rare scenario where you own a Gen1 battery and battery meter and are replacing it with a gen2 battery and meter the whole in your dash will be too big for the new gauge. Use the downsize ring to enlarge the new gauge to fit into the larger hole on your dash.
  • Is it easy to install? Yes, super easy, just slip it over the gauge from the rear to give the meter a larger lip around the LCD screen.
