Cart Subtotal:
Having the tires you need for the job you are up against is one of the basic requirements of golf carting.
This tire clocks in just over the stock height. That translates to 20.5 inches tall. While you could get these installed without a lift kit, you would not even have the clearance to run over pine straw. That being said, a lift kit is required. Now which one you need all comes down to what you are using the golf cart for. We have stuff for basic ground clearance and heavy-duty offroad travel.
However, with a tire like this, your best bet will be used on the road. These are meant for golf carts with strict neighborhood laws or caddies that reach higher speeds. You are in the right place if you have called in and talked to an expert about a motor and controller kit or an engine swap. Sure, we can make your golf cart do wheelies or scream past traffic, but you need to outfit it properly. That absolutely includes the tires. Staying with the OEM option will hurt your performance, but it can also leave you stranded.

It means it's too big for your golf cart so you need a 3" lift kit like a Jakes which I installed. These tires are 20.5" high so your cart won't have clearance. Either get a smaller tire 205/50-10 so you won't need a lift kit which takes about 3 hours to install if you have the right tools and background. Also a lift kit makes your ride a little firmer for some reason. And a lift kit costs about $300 too and changes the center of gravity of your golf cart so you need to take more care turning sharply etc. These are good tires, I bought 4 from Buggies Unlimited and like them a lot, but there are drawbacks as mentioned.
I have a lift kit on my cart. If yours sits low I would think you would.
Yes if it is a G-29. I have a G-29 2003 and I needed a lift kit and it works fine, but I would now rethink it. I'd go for the regular 205-50-10 Fusion tires instead and avoid the hassle of buying and installing a lift kit which I think would be around $600 minimum after buying the tires too. Fusion tires are great and are radials and very soft too so the smaller tires would be fine unless you want the lifted look for some strange reason. :)
We do not recommend without a lift kit.
These tires are 4 play rated. I hope you read my review of these tires. I am also in the process of returning the 4 of them.
This will work on most cars non lifted car but with suspension upgrades.
