Product Details

Have you ever ridden in or driven an old car or truck with bad brakes? What was the tell-tale sign that gave it away? Usually, it's hard pulling in one direction or the other. This points to one side being worse, like the Driver side Brake Assembly for example. Parts like these are ones that you need to keep on your seasonal checklist. Anything that would be considered high wear may not need replacing all simultaneously, but it helps to check and make sure they are good to go at least a few times a year. If you let things like the braking system slip, that's what will happen when you try to stop, a bunch of slipping and sliding. Make sure you can safely arrest your motion with the braking parts you need.

This golf cart brake assembly is relatively easy to install. Brakes are brakes tough and can throw you a wrench from time to time, though. Make sure you are prepared for the job at hand and order a manual with this order from Buggies Unlimited.

Perfect Replacement for my Yamaha G1
An affordable solution to fix my 35 year old worn out breaks. Easy to install and hook up. A couple turns on the adjustment knob and they were good to go.

Works great to solve brake lock up problem
I was having a brake lock up problem on a 1989 EZGO electric cart, the brake on the driver side had a worn down expansion arm so the brake shoes would not expand properly when the brakes were applied and the passenger side brake would do all the braking and lock up This brake plate assembly solved the problem and it was very easy to install, The price is also a great deal since it comes with the brake shoes and brake mechanism

1 Question
Installation instructions?

I don’t recall there being installation instructions, but it was fairly straightforward to install. Everything came pre-assembled. The installation was basically reinstall the new brake assembly onto the backing plates welded to the axle tubes, using the four bolts removed when taking off the old assembly.
