The biggest complaint we hear about upgrading controllers is the loss of run time. It's true if you get more outstanding performance, the cart will consume energy quickly. The Club Car DS / Precedent Navitas 600-Amp 48-Volt Controller Kit is the best of both worlds. Sure, you can turn the speed up and do near 25 miles per hour or turn the torque up and pull your boat out of the water. Or you could turn both down and increase your runtime by 30-percent. All the performance you need when you need it, just not all at once. Finally, you can play a few rounds and still race the neighbors all on one charge.
In this kit, you get a Club Car 48-Volt 16-Pin harness for plug-and-play installation. This will fits DS & Precedent models that utilize that sixteen-pin set-up. Make sure the On-The-Fly controller programming box gets hooked up so you can save power and pass the Joneses exactly when you need to. Call Buggies Unlimited and get one coming.
David yes it will and do a very good job at it might i say. but if you have a factory motor this controller will shorten the life of it overall from the high amperage. just a friendly tip
This package is a controller and an on-the-fly programmer. It is $652.79. A new motor and solenoid are sold separately. They are usually around $80 for the solenoid and the motor costs vary.
This will fit 48 volt models with factory 1510 / 1515 Curtis controllers
Yes it will , I recommend upgrading your solenoid as well as I burned my stock one up and had to replace it. With an upgraded motor and lithium batteries my cart does around 35-40 mph.
I do not know , but I found Navitas folks very helpful and they directed me to the exact controller I needed
No this is for a DC system, you must purchase the Navitas system for AC carts.
Yes, but only if you have a DC motor.
