Product Details

With Jake's Club Car Four-Inch Lift Kit, you will not have any problems achieving your goals. Did you want to lift it for better ground clearance? No problem, this will allow you to stick up to a 22-inch tall tire under it. This makes sense for almost every application. If you are hunting or offroading, the benefits can be noticeable. You are up higher and can climb over all kinds of things that may be in your path instead of trying to get around them or, worst case, having to get up and move it. Take on all parts of the trail.

Lifting your golf cart this way is only recommended if you do not plan on going bigger in the future. We understand the stepping stone approach to upgrades. If that is the way you want to go, you need to check out a Club Car spindle lift kit or an a-arm. This lift requires you to cut your aluminum frame in two places. To remove that and put it back to stock or add a different lift, you would have to weld those golf cart parts back together. Now instead of a solid frame piece, you are relying on your friend's torch work to keep you safe.

This golf cart lift kit is not like the other block lift kits for EZGO or Yamaha. These kits are changing the mounting point at which your chocks or leaf springs mount. In EZGO's case, both. Club Car had a slightly different setup with a leaf spring-driven a-arm system upfront; this is why the frame needs slicing. This is not hard to install; you are going to want some help, though. Have a buddy there to lend a hand, even if it's just to pass you tools. Get Buggies Unlimited on the horn now and place your order.

Features:

  • Easy cut the frame OEM style lift can be installed in less than 2 hours

Please Note: This lift kit requires some cutting. Please see installation instructions.

Nice kit but needs more instructions
The kit was easy to follow and provides a nice lift. Issues encountered were the shifter cable for Forward and Reverse does not line up with the existing brackets and mounts. I had to modify the angled metal part of the shifter cable to the frame for stability now. Also, the engine grounding cable needed replacement because it was too short after the kit was installed.

Works and looks good. Install only took a couple hours. I have two complaints one is the paper template needs to be on more rigid paper and have dots for the center punch instead of a big circle that creates a large margin of error in the hole placement. The other is the steering linkage was too short for my 2001 club car. Other than that it’s a great economical lift.

Is there anywhere I can get just the extended steering knuckle for this kit?
I have a 2005 club car golf cart ds I'm wanting to go a 6in lift kit and have a set o f tires and wheels 22×9-8 if I use spacers can I use these tires and wheels?

Hi James, if it is a 6" Jake's lift you will most likely need an offset with your wheels, and the spacers will solve your issue if you notice your centered wheels are rubbing against the lift kit.

can you run this with a 6" a arm lift?

I don’t see why not because all this does is drop the front end down 4 inches lower to give you more Height

I have a 1980 club car ds and was curious what kind of lift to look at, don't see anything anywhere for that year? Thank u in advance
Hi, can I use this kit on my gas C Car Carryall1?
Would this lift work on an 02 carryall 1?
Can you run factory 8" rims with this lift?

Yes, you most certainly can. However, it looks a little odd so you may want to do what I did and go with 20x10.00-8 tires. I went with Carlisle All Trail II. This tire is also available in 22x10.00-8 and there would be room for that too, I just had the others in stock.

I have heavy Duty springs on mine which is 3 leaf springs. Will it still work?

Yes it should with no problem.

Is this lift kit for front and back?

Yes, this is for front and back.

Well this fit a 2009 president ?

No CC DS models only.
