Wow! Replaced the burned out motor in my lifted 2021 Club Car Fairway Villager (4 seater). Was easy to install using a strap to help hold it while 2nd person rocked the tire to get the splines lined up and finger tightened the bolts. I have since learned to drive with my toes on the accelerator rather than my size 12’s as the torque is definetly there. I already had 4AWG cables, an upgraded controller and HD relay so only replaced the ForwardReverse switch. Very happy with this motor.

This motor is great. I was getting 14 mph out of a lifted 1999 club car ds. Now I am just shy of 30 with 2 people. Better than I expected.

Hi torque hi speed motor upgrade
Outstanding upgrade ! 1995 36 volt Club Car DS . New motor, hi amp solenoid, HD Shift switch, new cables and the cart had an existing Alltrax 600 amp controller. Top speed with one person will hit 30 MPH and the torque is impressive, a pleasure to drive.

Motor came quickly as always by buggies unlimited... Packaged great... I d is not like the cover and patch system for the brush area...had to put a large hose clamp on it for it to stay in place... The latch would not stay locked.
Went on easy... Had a little issue lining up the housing bolts but a little wiggle and they lined up.
Runs fast but seems to cook my 4 gauge wires... But customer support say I should run it lightly for a bit till the brushes wear in.... I am not optimistic on this but will see... I may need to replace all cables with 2 gauge...
So buyer beware... Also doesnt have the torque the factory motor had... Wouldnt run up my ramp to my trailer without a running start... My old motor did .

Excellent kit. Total transformation. My cart did only 14 mph on flat ground. Topped out at 20 with a downhill run on my street and only climbed the hill at 8-9 mph before this kit.
Now it does 25 on flat over 30 same downhill run. And climb same hill at 20.
Excellent staff.
Called and left a message with a detailed question. I missed the call back, but was satisfied with the answer left in the message.

1999 Club Car motor upgrade.
What a straight forward and easy upgrade. From 13 mph to 28mph. BU was excellent in customer service and support. I had to redo the brakes also because it was so fast.
