it doesn't matter it's a switch. a on and off switch that plugs into the wire harness of your cart i think all carts have a harness that has plug ins for light kits brake kits etc.
If its a club car pull the floor mat and there ia a piece by the accelerator that comes up and the wire is in there
If the lights stay on after you take your foot off the pedal, you have a defective switch.
